Yes! Using the livingwell.utah.gov site, you are able to register someone else. Follow the same directions from the previous FAQ, but select “No” for the field “I am registering for this course for myself”, and complete the remainder of the form.
After performing a workshop search and selecting the workshop you’d like to attend, simply click “Register”. You will be directed to an enrollment form, on which you will need to complete the required fields. After completing this, you are officially registered.
Great question! Using the “Find a Workshop” feature on the livingwell.utah.gov website, you can search for any of the workshops in your area by entering your zip code and a mile radius if you prefer.
Fortunately, the Utah Arthritis Program is still able to offer workshops at no cost to participants. While this may not always be the case in the future, for now, all workshops are free.
Any adult (18 years or older) with a chronic disease is eligible to attend. Additionally, any adult caretaker of someone with a chronic disease is qualified to attend. For the Living Well with a Disability workshop, any adult living with a disability or physical impairment is eligible to attend, along with the option to also have an adult caretaker there.
