Online Self-Management: Learn More about Better Choices Better Health (BCBH) – a proven effective, 6 week, peer to peer and peer led online self-management program participants can do from home.
You may be familiar with BCBH as the digital version of the Chronic Disease Self-management Program (CDSMP) developed at Stanford. We know that many of you are facing the difficult decision to cancel upcoming in-person programs due to COVID-19. You might want to learn about this evidence-based and proven effective intervention. In the time of COVID – 19 pandemic we know that loneliness and depression will be heightened by the need to shelter in place and not see family and friends.
The good news is that there is an online version of the Chronic Disease Self-Management Program called Better Choices Better Health (BCBH) that you may be able to provide in your communities. BCBH is a small group, 6-week self-management program with weekly lessons and group discussion boards for people living with ongoing health conditions.
