With support from The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors (NACDD), Utah will train partners to participate in a Train-the-Trainer (T3) cohort. Download and print the Work@Health® fact sheet (PDF) on for more information.

By participating in the Work@Health® Train-the-Trainer program, you will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to train employers on how to promote good health in their worksites to prevent or reduce chronic illnesses and disability. The goal is to improve productivity and the competitiveness of employers participating in the training program. Additionally, participation in the cohort can open doors to new partnerships between the local health jurisdiction and the business community to enhance program specific goals and coordinate efforts to improve overall health and well-being.

2017-2018 Work@Health® Satisfaction:
  • 98% of employer program respondents indicated that the Work@Health® training was effective and the topics met their needs.
  • 95% of employer participants would recommend the training program to others.
  • 100% of participating employers agreed or strongly agreed that their Work@Health® State trainer demonstrated a good understanding of the material, effectively delivered the training activities and materials, and effectively generated program interaction.

The Utah Department of Health’s EPICC Program is recruiting Train-the-Trainers in March 2019 and training will begin the second week of April.
